My friend and I started a shared google doc, we each take turns writing a paragraph of a "fiction" story, but the other person is only allowed to read the last sentence of the previous paragraph. So at the end the story will probably not make any sense, but it's fun!
... My friend taught me a game called novel where you get a bunch of friends on video chat and switch off picking books to be a part of your game. You only show the cover and back cover of the book and everyone submits what they predict the first sentence of the book is. You then vote on the best answer and see if your guess matches reality. We tried to slide tissue boxes from down the hall and get them to land under a chair. We called it Tissue Box Curling and it was super fun! We used some swiffers to sweep the "ice". Download the apps to all of your favorite stores with your bff. Go into each store together and add what you like to your cart. When you're done looking around, swap carts and give each other advice on what looks you like and don't like. Formulate a budget and make your final selections to checkout then head to the next store together! Full shopping day from home with your friend! Pro tip: add champagne for a unique at home shopping experience with twice the amount of fun.”A Nudger from Austin
Schedule time with a friend to go for a jog, but on the phone! Put your headphones in and take off, keeping a conversational pace you can chat as if you were running together down the west side highway - it makes the time fly by and you get some fresh air!
I'm creating a virtual 5K with friends across the country - we're picking a cause to donate $20/each to, then we'll run a 5k in our own cities on the same day. Then celebrate over Zoom after, naturally.
